Nov 1st, 2008: 1st World BJJ Championships ( Kids & Teens ) & California Classic

This upcoming Saturday, November 1st, 2008, there will be a tournament at Rubidoux High School (see end of the post for the address), it is a kids and teens tournament hosted by the guys at United BJJ. So, the school is closed on Saturday, November 1st, 2008.

A lot of the kids will be fighting on Saturday, while Bronson and Ricky will be fighting on Sunday for the teens divisions. Even if you (or your kid) aren't competing, you should do your best to show up to the tournament. We are a team and it is important that we all support each other, especially at the first tournament that we go to. So, show some A-Team support and head to the tournament this weekend.

The event starts at 10:00 AM.
Spectator pricing is as follows; 3 & Under are Free, Kids are $5, Adults are $10.

Halloween Party

Remember everyone, the Halloween party is on Friday, 10/31/08 and will take place from 4 PM to 6 PM.

Everyone is invited, so bring your kids in their costumes and come have a good time with the rest of the team. Do not bring your Gis, there won't be any rolling at the party.
